Steambirds Survival, mobile edition
Steambirds: Survival (SB:S) is available now on iTunes! An Android version will follow very shortly. The iPad version can be found here. The iPhone & iPod version here.
For those of you who played the original Web-based version of the game: think of this as Survival multiplied by one hundred and twenty. As in: this game has 120 missions (64 available at launch) at they're all free! Missions are split into sets of eight, which correspond to 15 cities in the UK which you will defend from the relentless forces of the Axis. These cities are doomed, but their military secrets, their treasures, and most importantly, their people need your help if they are going to survive!
SB:S mobile has some interesting new features, like a "reinforcements" powerup that summons allies to your side in battle, a "recuiting" option that enables you to hire additional player-controlled planes to help you beat more difficult missions, new enemies, new music, and more!
SB:S mobile is the product of a collaboration between Spry Fox and Halfbrick, aka the guys who made Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride! So from Halfbrick and from us: we hope you enjoy the game!
